We have done a pretty good job dispelling the myth that gun ranges are not good places to purchase guns and supplies. Our prices are extremely competitive, oftentimes $100 or more under the competition on firearms purchases.

Our selection is terrific:

We have a great selection of new and used firearms, featuring the most popular brands. We are a Kimber Master Dealer, a Sig “Significant” dealer, and we have access to all of the major firearm distributors. We CAN and WILL get you the gun you want!

Try before you buy:

We’ve heard many times from our customers that they wish they had known about us before buying their firearm, because they HATE the one they selected. We have many of the most popular firearms available for rent, so you get to try them out before committing to one model. Additionally, when you DO try a firearm, and purchase it the same day, we throw the rental fee in free of charge.

On Thursday nights, we offer free gun rentals to ladies, and often times, customers will shoot several different firearms in one session, to determine which one is right for them.  You can’t do that at a gun shop.

Complete familiarization with your new purchase:

Whether it be simply cleaning, loading and unloading, or understanding the fundamentals of shooting, we will help.

Visiting rights:

While waiting for your paperwork approval, you can visit and shoot your firearm. You can’t do that at a gun shop, either!

We call you when your firearm is ready for pickup:

No more sitting around, waiting, or having to remember your pickup date. Unless you tell us otherwise, you will receive a telephone reminder when your gun is in.

We are really, really nice:

No Bubbas. Have you ever gone to a gun shop or range and been greeted to a bunch of scary looking guys engrossed in a conversation about guns, or hunting, or politics, who only acknowledge you by giving a sideways glare, and perhaps grunting some type of unintelligible sound? That really makes you want to spend your time and money there, doesn't it? You won’t find that at Horst and McCann.  You will be treated pleasantly, respectfully, and professionally, every time.

We encourage EVERYONE, regardless of sex, age, and race to visit our gun range. We believe that respect for EVERYONE is crucial to our success, and encourage anyone; young, old, EVERY ETHNIC group, regardless of your experience with firearms, to visit us.

No retired Drill Instructors:

 We love the Gunny, but we wouldn’t want his DI character working at our range.  We feel that people get yelled at enough by their bosses, parents, spouses, teachers, lovers, partners, friends, etc. The last thing you need is to come out to an establishment where you spend your hard earned money, and get treated like a Marine recruit.
