We are partnering with a SWAT/military training facility to offer advanced training for pistol and AR-15 weapons platforms.  

Training Opportunity #1:  A one day training course in the use of the semiautomatic pistol.  This intense course will take students from beginner to advanced training techniques.  Students learn to shoot under high stress levels and will learn various pistol craft techniques such as room clearing with a handgun.  Students will be required to bring a centerfire semiautomatic handgun and spare magazines.  Ammo required for this course is 650 rounds of high quality ammo of appropriate caliber for their firearm.           

Tuition:  $300*  

Training Opportunity #2:  A one day AR-15 operator course.  This course will deal with the history, nomenclature and fundamentals of the AR-15.  Students will battle zero their weapon at 25 and 50 meters and then will shoot at ranges from 50 to 300 meters.  Ammo required for this course is 650 rounds.                   

Tuition:  $300* 

Training Opportunity #3:  A two day combination of pistol and AR-15 training.  This course will focus on SWAT/military tactics and how to employ the handgun and AR-15 platforms in a hostile environment.  Round count will be 600 rounds for each weapon.                 

Tuition:  $575*

 

*Tuition does not include ammunition or rental firearms.  Tuition is refundable ONLY in the event of a class canellation. Class size is limited to 8 participants.

 

Things to bring the day of training:

 

An open mind.  Our instructors are all military and law enforcement veteran instructors.  They have all “been there” and will work diligently to convey what they know to you.  It is up to you to be receptive and accept the training.  A small notebook and writing instrument is suggested. 

 

Sunscreen, insect repellent and raingear.  The course will be held regardless of inclement weather.

 

Water, lunch, and a hydration system.  This could be something as simple as a canteen or as

elaborate as a camelback. 

 

Pistol belt, holster, and magazine carriers, as well as spare magazines.  The more mags you have, the less time you will have to spend on loading them.  A cleaning kit is also recommended . 

 

High quality ammunition.  We offer ammunition at case discount prices, or you may bring your own..
