Today I took my yeager out, it is the flinter. It was raining when Audie and I got to the state game lands. We got our stuff on and went back in deep. He put me at a spot that always produces a deer. The trees were dripping, it dripped out of the sky every now and then. At 8:15 AM I heard shots down below me. I got ready. The deer came trotting up through. The lead doe stopped in a perfect opening about 75 yards away. I put the sights on her ribs and pulled the trigger. I was rewarded with instant fire. She went down, the others ran away.
